Kombat time: Johnny Cage


Johnny Cage is a character in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Johnny Cage first appeared in the first Mortal Kombat game. He is a famous movie star and is known as one of the greatest fighters in the world. Cage is the comic relief of the deadly Mortal Kombat tournament. Johnny Cage is also in the Mortal kombat trilogy, Mortal kombat 4, Mortal kombat: Armageddon, Mortal kombat: Shaolin Monks, and Mortal kombat: Deadly Alliance. He also appears in Mortal Kombat the movie and in  Mortal Kombat Legacy: Episode 3.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: Street Fighter the movie


Street Fighter the movie is a film based on the game that came out in 1994. In the story, M. Bison is keeping a group of innocent hostages. It is up to Guile and others to rescue the hostages, Defeat M. Bison, and save the day. This movie was a huge success when it came to money, but many fans didn't like Street Fighter the movie. Street Fighter the movie was also well known for the horible game based off of the movie.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: Nappa


Nappa is a saiyan from the Dragon Ball Z franchise. He lived on Planet Vegeta and used to be a soldier of Freiza's army. After Goku's brother Raditz died, Nappa and Vegeta came to Earth to destroy it and kill Goku and his friends. After killing several of the Z fighters, Goku came and defeated him. When Nappa was lying on the ground helpless, Vegeta killed him. Many years later, Nappa was eventually ressurected with other villains by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu's dimension hole. Vegeta killed him once again after his ressurection.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: MODOK

MODOK is a villain from the marvel universe. His name stands for Mobile Organism Only Designed for Killing. He first appeared in Tales of Suspense #93. Scientists at a corporation called A.I.M created MODOK and used him for experiments to study his super intellectual brain. MODOK eventually took control of A.I.M and attempted to connquer the world. He has faced many foes such as Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, the Meta-humans, Nick Fury, Namor, Dr. Doom, etc. He even appeared on the show Super Hero Squad and was made into a playable character in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: Space Ghost


Space Ghost is a 60's  Hanna-Barbera cartoon show called Space Ghost/Dino boy It is about a super hero named Space Ghost who fights evil super villains such as The Wizard, Moltar, Zorak, and others across the galaxy. He did this with the help of teenagers Jan, Jace, and a monkey named Blip. In the 90's, Adult Swim on Cartoon Network had a hilaurios talk show spoof of the original caroon. Eventually, there was even a Space Ghost comic book series. The original cartoon can be watched on Boomerang by Cartoon Network.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: Bioshock history



Bioshock is the award winning video game about an under waster city called Rapture. It was made to be a man made utopia free from the government. It was founded by a man named Andrew Ryan. Everything changed when Dr. Brigid Tennenbaum discovered a drug from a snail called ADAM. It was considered the wonder drug and it is used to gain powers such as telekinesis and fire. The ADAM was being carried by young girls called little sisters. Eventually, the citizens of Rapture became addicted and addicts were known as splicers. When the splicers began to attack the little sisters, Andrew Ryan sent large armored soldiers called big daddies to protect little sisters and get rid of the splicers. This became the start of the Rapture civil war.  

Useless Knowledge of the day: Tatoo Assassins


Tattoo Assassins is a video game made to compete with Mortal Kombat. Even though it copied the graphics and effects of Mortal Kombat, Tattoo Assassins created the very first fatalities with animals, also known as animalities. This game also uses live action actors which is very similar to mortal kombat as well. Each of the fighters in Tattoo Assassins uses their tattoos to give themselves special powers and fatalities. Some characters include Rhina, Prizm, Billy Two Moons, A.C. Current, Maya, etc.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: The Punisher


Frank Castle used to be a regular family man. He had a little boy and a wonderful wife. One day, his wife and son were killed by some criminals. After what happened, he wanted to get revenge on every criminal in New York as the Punisher. He first appeared in Spiderman #129. He has killed about 2000 people in the comics. Some opponents he has faced are Spiderman, Deadpool, Sentry, Daredevil, Kingpin, Bullseye etc. Just recently he has been killed by Wolverine's son, Daken. When Morbius the vampire found his remains, he ressurected him into FrankenCastle. Eventually, the writers at Marvel brought him back as he originally was.

Useless Knowledge of the Day: Zangief


 Zangief first appeared in Street Fighter 2. Afterwards, he became a very well known character in the street fighter universe and in capcom. He was originally supposed to be named Vodka Gobalsky. He has been in all the Street Fighter games ever since including Street Fighter: The Movie: the game, Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter 4, etc. He is one of the most famous grapplers in fighting game history.
